The public rezoning hearing (from R-1 to B-4 with waivers and conditions) for the Rifkind office and parking project has been set for Tuesday, October 9, 2001 in Room 451, City and County Building (1437 Bannock Street). The City Council meeting begins at 6.30PM and anyone wishing to speak must register to do so prior to 7.00 P.M. Written protests must be filed with City Council before 12.00 noon on the 7th day prior to the Public Hearing date.
M. Rifkind (303 333 1215) has submitted an alley vacation request to the City of Denver. The reason for the vacation is to allow for the development of a new office building and parking garage on adjoining properties. The alley lies between Alameda Avenue, Dakota Avenue, South Monroe Street and South Garfield Street.
