The unruly nature of the teenagers in the neighborhood is bringing down the value of our homes.  Ghetto acting kids will eventually turn this neighborhood into a ghetto neighborhood when all of the good neighbors decide to move out. 

Specifically, crime & vandalism were getting out of control last summer and I see it starting back up already.  I'm not looking forward to another summer at Oakforge Lakes.  I was going to buy nicer ceramic flower pots and gardening types items, then had to think about where I live and get the cheapest stuff I could find. 

 What a shame. 

Once again, if you can identify the children or the address where the children live, we can do somthing about it.  We are a firm believer in calling the police.  In actuallity the only way some of the kids will learn is involvement with the correctional system.  Lets get them involved early and save us all some tax dollars.  A good stand here is zero tolerance.  If they are not behaving now the chances of them behaving later are pretty slim.  Lets let their parents answer for them in court rather than on the street. 

I'd be in favor of public spankings for kids & teens. Administered by officials under strict guidlines of course.

Right, we will presume this is an attempt at humor or a personal desire.  When kids get together unsupervised, mischief will happen, nature of the beast, never changed and never will.  As adults it is our charge to maintain some sort of order in our lives and if that means getting involved in explaining to some other adult that their child is misbehaving, then so be it.  As I have stated in this forum before, the parent may not actually know what their kid is up to and might actually thank you for filling them in on the antics.
