How many meetings are necessary?

For your information, Chimney Lakes Residents, here is the breakdown on the Board of Directors "meetings" this year:
(And the year isn't finished yet!)

8 regular board meetings.
8 "special" (some called workshops?) meetings.

Do you want to know what goes on at a Special Meeting?

Well, sorry, folks, but hardly any of you will ever know what goes on at a "Special Meeting." These "meetings" are called 48 hours in advance, or less, and the board conducts whatever business it wants. And, yes, their actions are costing you money, and there isn't a thing you can do about it.

Oh, wait a minute, there is one thing you can do. Read your bylaws, and then take it from there.
