I had posted this Web site address and my own Web site address at Circle C North two mail box stations many, many times.

Could you people who live on the South side give me all the mail box stations' locations? I might go posting the Web site addresses there as well.

During our next annual meeting, maybe we can hire a kid holding a poster at the entrance to let everyone who attends the meeting aware of CCHOA's Financial Scandal!

Hello! Do you have any good idea and creative way to publish these two Web sites to all the homeowners without spending a fortune?

Someone takes downs posts!

Every time that a notice has been placed on the mailbox bulletin board someone takes them down. (Not referring to lost & founds etc.) I could post numerous examples but you know it happens. In an earlier post I suggested that the board have a LOCKED Plexiglas cover over HOA communications that are NOT related to CCR business (BOD) which have another board to post. This way nothing can be torn down. Problem, the people at the helm WON'T let anything post except, for sales, lost pet?’s etc. NOTHING that threatens their existence! I know, I've tried and they were gone in hours.

Mail Centers belong to the USPS

The Mail Centers really belong to the US Postal Service, not CCHOA. CCHOA has always claimed to control them, but they don't have any legal basis for this claim.

CCHOA placed bullitine boards and newsletter boxes at the Mail Centers all over CCR, but that does not give them the exclusive use or the right to censor them, except, perhaps on their own piece of cork board.

They asserted that right and while I doubt anyone thinks that is inappropriate, they have NO RIGHT to remove anything a member posts at the Mail Centers.

Anyway, I seriously doubt that CCHOA is responsible for ripping down the notices that other members post. It's your neighbors who are responsible.

We certainly could use some locked display cases, too. I'm all for that move. I have no problem with reasonable rules, either, but censorship is not part of the plan that CCHOA agreed to and frankly, it's not their right.

The common areas belong to the MEMBERS.

The BY-LAWS belong to the MEMBERS.

The HOA belongs to the MEMBERS.

The BOD serve at OUR pleasure and if they don't server well, they can be replaced.

Mail Stop Area continued....

I did not mean to sound like I was blaming the HOA on removal of all messages. I KNOW that it is some homeowner who would like to sensor what is talked about. BUT, I remember asking about posting stuff years ago and was told by the HOA that there are RULES to follow regarding posts. Example dated only for a week and had to have certain criteria etc. Also, if the HOA is monitoring the board (limits of a week for posts) then it is sometimes them removing things. That is why the acrylic cover w/ rules regarding posts SO nobody can remove ANYTHING until the established time limit is up. This I can see so it doesn?’t become a mess of letters & notices.

Also on another note regarding the mail boxes, I know that the garbage can @ my post area is usually a mess w/ homeowners dumping their direct mail advertising pieces in the trash. Many times I have to pick up blown trash as the cans are to full. I wonder how many of us know that some of this stuff could be recycled (catalogs) & other direct mail pieces in their home recycling bins? The current trash company now lets us recycle magazines & catalogs where the old one did not have this option.

FYI, more virgin forest is cut around the world for advertising catalogs then almost any other reason and only a very small percentage actually result in sales for these retailers (2%).
