Did anyone go to the forum? Anything noteworthy to report? Is there a PAC endorsement for dogcatcher?

Short and perfunctuary
The forum drew 28 people that I counted, although most of them seemed to be the candidates and their families. Ken Rigbee introduced three Republicans and one Democrat running for Sheriff, the same mix running for Constable, and then he introduced one of the three Texas Supreme Court judges who live here in Circle C (I missed the name, but it sounded like Wade Smith or something like that - sorry). Only three of the candidates invited questions from the audience and there were only two questions that were asked. One of them was me, asking Duane Mcneill (running for Sheriff), if hes plan to streamline the booking process included opening other (remote) offices. He said, ''No''. The forum was over in about an hour and most of the candidates stayed behind to meet neighbors. |

Rigsbee's last hurrah
Sounds like Rigsbee's last hurrah. I imagine crickets were chirping in the background. We now need to get rid of Rigsbee's PAC. |
