Other examples

While I'm on the issue of landscaping, the mail box areas look awful. After myself & others contacted the BOD via email, the reply mentioned that there is no water at these areas. So why waste our HOA money to plant there? Because they are suppose to be native and should do well on their own was the answer. (a plant needs to be established with regular waterings first which isnt the case). Also I noticed the MAILBOX area next to Kiker Elem., this is planted with beautiful, colorful flowers and must be kept watered so be so green. And that whole med. area is also well watered. WHY there only? I guess we have to pretend that our area is well maintained. I was also told a water truck would come by & water the plants. Now there are now 2 dead shrubs and the big oak tree is also starting to die because of the moss condition. There is trash all around the greenbelts areas (walk by and really look in, glass, trash, newspapers still in the baggies) what is our landscaping crew doing? I say it a whole reflection on the BOD pride of ownership in their baby....CCR!

That's not the way it works

Susan owns the landscape company which is just a hired contractor of the assoc. To my knowledge, the management company of the assoc, full circle, would be the one to send deed restrictions. ya'll are mixing everything together and it doesn't make any sense. fyi - i drove by our president's house and the lawn was fine. In fact, it looks better than mine and I haven't received any letters. Last time I checked it was 100 degrees and everyone's lawn looked a little dry. It's called living in Texas.

Lucky...

Lucky, I say your another prime example of grasping at straws. You may want to give Lisa a call as she too has been grasping at straws and probably would be willing to share. I say if you don't like it here, then start packing.

To Melinda

Dear Melinda,

If your lawn looks worse than Jim O'Reilly's and you haven't received any letters, that means our BOD is not doing its job which is called - ENFORCING THE DEED RESTRICTIONS!!!

Sincerely,
Lisa
