Good looking native sub-division

Heh heh, if my house is built on land owned by a hummingbird/squirrel, then I need to find out why I'm paying the property taxes! Maybe the squirrel works for Bradley... ;-)

Seriously, do you have an examples of a local sub-division that utilizes more native plants? I'd like to see what it looks like. We are competing with them (economically) wrt the value of our property. My obervation is that when people get ready to market their home, they green up the lawn and generally spruce up their non-native plants to make it more attractive to the general population of home-shoppers.

Experienced professionals

Experienced landscape professionals know what to plant.

For years Susan has not followed the city recommendation of a 5 day watering schedule to have grass roots grow deeper to get the water it needs. Instead we have roads being ''watered'' during the day. Heck, she's not paying for the water. YOU ARE!

Why have we been paying someone to learn on the job? Ask your BOD.

TO MIKE RAT BOY

Mike:

I will invite you to my house in Circle C. I have had my lawn (landscaping) written about and about to have it used again in a newspaper article to TEACH PEOPLE. Not because I am conceded, nor am I trying to brag. I open my home to folks like you to show them (skeptics) that native does NOT need to be boring etc. I will also bet you that if and when I decide to sell, my NATIVE landscaping will draw extra dollars on resale or a least move my home off the market quicker. Of course unless it's someone like you that would prefer to be sarcastic, instead of really knowing what your talking about!

Are you interested in educating yourself or only want to seem foolish?

Thanks!
