Weeds in the yards

We have sent a request to the Park West Landscape committee to add a chemical pre-emergent and some turfgrass broadleaf weedkillers to our list of approved products. They will be used sparingly in order to prevent the emergence of new weeds. With hot, dry and windy weather, some weeds are inevitable.

We will also be bagging clippings in some of the yards to prevent spreading weed seeds around. This will be done on an as needed basis, when the weed seed heads are upright but not yet fully ready to spread seeds. This will help contain the spread of weeds throughout the neighborhood.
