CLF is holding a Board retreat Saturday, January 23, 1999, at 9 a.m. in the Mimosa Room (2nd Floor East Side) at Kaiser Permanente (8383 W. Alameda). The four hour meeting is designed for the organization to decide its goals, objectives, tactics, etc. for the upcoming year. Specifically, the Board will be looking at hosting Towne Meetings or Leadership Councils for citizens to address specific issues and/or develop coordination between neighborhood groups and local activists.
