2nd ATTEMPT AT STREET LEAK REPAIR

Another repair was attempted at the intersection of 26th and Lynwood. Our contractor said that if this repair does not work, it is not repairable. TAKE ALL OF YOUR WATER. The water you don?’t take has to go somewhere. Unused water puts an unnecessary strain on the irrigation pipe joints. We have the additional problem that the irrigation pipes are about 1 foot below the street. After a repair, Mesa runs a heavy, vibrating roller over the new asphalt to pack it down. They are required to run the roller, but vibration is optional. If you see any street repairs over irrigation pipes, please ask the city workers to turn off the vibration.

IRRIGATION PROBLEMS?
Please call the number at the bottom. RWCD does NOT make repairs. RWCD does NOT inform us when a decision is made to shut down irrigation. We can usually resolve problems without the loss of an irrigation cycle.
