RAIN CANCELLATION

RWCD does not have a rain gauge in our area. Prior to the last irrigation cycle, RWCD?’s rain gauge showed a lot of water even though we?’d had less than an inch. While this may be okay for grass, it?’s not enough for trees. Fortunately it rained after RWCD cancelled our cycle. If it rains a lot in the valley, but not in our area, call RWCD prior to the posting and let them know that we did not get enough water. This might prevent an unnecessary cancellation.
