Parker Artists Guild (PAG) and the Parker Arts Council invites you to a celebration of art at the 7th Annual Art in the Park Event, Saturday, August 23 & Sunday, August 24 from 10am – 5pm at O’Brien Park (Mainstreet & Parker Rd.) in the beautiful town of Parker.
Art in the Park is a wonderful art show with over 100 participating artists from the local community and further a field. Many forms of art will be represented including: painting in a wide variety of media, photography, drawing, pastels, pottery, jewelry, wood-working, glass, sculpture and more. There will also be a student booth from Ponderosa High School. In addition to the visual arts, Parker Arts Council and the Town of Parker will provide entertainment in the gazebo on Sunday afternoon. Food and refreshments will be available from local vendors.
The Parker Artists Guild was formed in 2001 and has grown to around 200 members this year. Their mission is to promote the visual arts and raise awareness of artists in the community. PAG sponsors a variety of art education workshops and demonstrations, exhibits, cultural events and Kid’s Kulture.
This event has strong support from the Town of Parker and businesses such as Choice Bank, Parker Station Professional Offices, and Victorian Peaks.
