you do not have to be in the official ''community watch ''program to be effective against crime fighting in our community.i have been on patrol many times over the years and never saw a crime happening or had a bust,however i have stopped 8 crimes in progess looking out my kitchen window, usually late at night.one was a ring of bandits stealing construction equipment ,many teen drinkers/druggies trashing the steets or vandalizing someones property and a few bike theives. all you do is keep a watch full eye and call ''911'' if you see anything that looks out of the ordinary.you can remain completely anonymous.if everybody did this we could take a ''bite out of crime.''
