Walking and Clayshire go hand in hand. We are fortunate to live in a (relatively) safe neighborhood that is conducive to walking. That said; the following 'rule of the road' should be heeded for safety sake if nothing else.
Missouri Revised Statute
300.405.2. Where sidewalks are not provided any pedestrian walking along and upon a highway shall when practicable walk only on the left side of the roadway or its shoulder facing traffic which may approach from the opposite direction.
Also remember to wear light colored reflective clothing in the evening or at night. The goal here is to be seen!
