I am new to the neighborhood.  I really love it here.  The neighbors are friendly and Homestead Park is gorgeous!  It's a great place to walk my dog. 

I am interested in getting a group of neighbors together who would like to volunteer with me to clean up the sidewalks around McGillivray and Village areas.  We could sweep and trim some shrubbry, pick up debris, etc.  Maybe we could each bring a trash bag to fill and take home.  What if we meet together for an hour or so on a Saturday or Sunday?  It's good exercise and a great way to get to know each other.

I know this has been a while since you posted this, but I just came across the neighborhood site.  There is a group that have been doing clean ups along 164 all the perimeter streets.  Let me know if you see the need and we can rally.
