Dear Mr. Glove:

This letter is to request your assistance in improving the traffic flow at the intersection of Clifton Springs Manor and Clifton Springs Road. The area of particular interest is near the bridge that cross over Interstate 285. I, being a member of the Clifton Springs Community Council and members of the Executive Board of the Community Council would like for your organization to conduct a study on the traffic. The recommendation is for caution lights or a traffic light in this area. I would like the results of the study presented to the Executive Board of the Community Council to be shared with all the neighbors.

Mr. Glove, there has been an increase in traffic flow and speeding within the neighborhood due to new development. Both of these increases (traffic flow and speeding) have a tendency to increase the possibility of auto accidents or dangerous situations in the neighborhood. It has become very difficult to exit from driveways on to Clifton Springs Road. The Beulah Baptist Church has added a tremendous amount of traffic on Sundays and Wednesday and we have a new housing development being built on Clifton Springs Roads across from Clifton Farm Drive.

Please review the intersection for possible improvements in traffic flow for our community.
