200 Petition NYPD Traffic Task force for Agent at 37th and 9th

What We Did: Hudson Crossings Tenants Association, a member of Chekpeds, sent more than 200 petitions to the Head of the Manhattan Traffic Task Force to request that an agent be posted at this critical intersection. Pedetrian injuires have more than tripled and the gridlock at this intrsection is a major cause of backups all the way up 9th avenue.

The Results: An agent is now posted every day at PM peak hours at the intersection and cones are deployed on 9th avenue for two blocs.. this is a major step toward a safer 9th avenue!
