Canyon North is getting two streets resurfaced. Westlake Drive is being completely demolished and replaced. The trees that caused the damage to the road have been removed. The street will remain a one way passage. The fence is owned by Ski Island and they will most likely be replacing it with something other than the pipe and rail fence that was there. The other street that is being repaired is Evergreen Canyon from Basswood to Westlake Drive. It will be milled down and a new surface put on top. These repairs will occur during the summer of 2007. Road Resurfacing

The road resurfacing projects in Canyon North are moving forward. The rainy weather in July slowed things down a bit but progress is being made. Westlake Drive is completely under construction and moderate work has begun on Evergreen Canyon Rd.

Westlake Drive is now complete.  The trees that damaged the road have been removed and the street widen a bit and completely replaced.  The residents of Ski Island have replaced the old pipe and rail fence with a beautiful decorative one.  We would like to thank our councilman Gary Marrs, the City of Oklahoma City and the residents of Ski Island for helping in this project.  It makes this part of our neighborhood very attractive.  Just another reason why Canyon North is a "Great Place to Live!"
