I just moved to this neighborhood in 2002. As a former New Yorker, I'm thrilled with all that the College Area has to offer. Like New York City, it's walkable and bikable (?)...how nice not to have to drive everywhere! There are some GREAT restaurants (want to share the info?).My neighbors are very diverse (great +). Sure, we need to clean it up and get some more cultural activities going here. But what great potential we have ! Have you checked out the amazing new Joan Kroc center? Sala Thai? The great new sushi restaurant on the north side of El Cajon and 67th? Wow. What else?
