I beleive that leaving cars parked in the street without moving for months at a time is a code violation. However, reporting the address doesn't seem to do any good. Any ideas on how to get junk cars, stored on the street, to move? I am referring to all the cars on Hopewell Rd.

junk cars
I am astounded that the white car and the orange truck on Hopewell have been sitting on the curb for MONTHS. One of them has Desoto MS tags on it. As many times as the police have been called to that house for noise and fighting you would think they would have put a ticket on them or something.

Cars Left In Street
Oh My God... I am so glad that this is annoying someone other than me!! I have emailed Code Enforcement at least 6 times, email Lynn Strickland as to what to do, and even called Code Enforcement. I emailed Johnie McKay @Johnie.McKay@memphistn.gov about this on June 5. He replied on June 5 back that the occupants of that structure were scheduled to appear in court on June 11 at 10:30am to give answers as to why they have refused to comply with orders to repair or remove vehicles and to clean up the yard of trash/debris & appliance. As of this morning (June 15 at 7:30am) nothing has been removed!!!! ANY MORE IDEAS!!!!

Car's left in street
I found that opening a police report on the car on the street helps. Open the ticket then call every week for a month. I have had 2 cars removed in 2 months by doing that. It is indeed a city violation especially if the car has expired plates.
