I'm new to these discussions.  Wonder if anyone knows who Truse is or was?

There was a neighborhood called Truce once upon a time. It sat where the Schnucks and the Home Depot are now. One way in, one way out. Supposedly the "Truce" folks got a fair price for the homes,  but I seriously doubt that.       " They paved paradise and put up a parking lot"    Somebodys paradise anyway.                                                 There was a large farm in that area called "Whites Station",  my Mom seemes to recall that the Truce neighborhood was where the farm "help" lived.   Anyhoo, hope that helps with your curiosity.       Bye
