Colonial Acres

I walk my dog every day around Welchshire and Colonial. I live at Oakwood Manor Townhouses. Yesterday, I walked past a couple of 25 -30 year old males who were walking 2 pit bulls. I asked when I passed them if the dogs were ok. One replied yes and as we passed by one of  pit bulls attacked my dog and bit half his ear off. Lasted only 5 -10 seconds before I could get them seperated. These two males just kept walking down Welchsire as if nothing happened. Meanwhile, I've got my dog bleeding out all over the sidewalk, calling my wife to come get us and going to the Emergency Animal Clinic over on Summer Ave. This all happened around 6 pm 08Sep14. Two carpenters were witness to this. If you know where these two males live, please let me know.

So sorry about this.  I hope you had some luck finding out who they were.  I believe you posted about this on Facebook as well (Colonial Acres Memphis).  Thanks for reporting it here also.  If I remember correctly you posted that your dog's ear would be ok?  Please let us know.

Thanks, Ron. Quincey's ear is healing nicely, although he's missing about half of it.

I think I have located where these two guys live with the help of some very good neighbors. I'll know for sure this afternoon.
