Annual Yard Sale

The Colonial Estates subdivision has been holding a community-wide annual yard sale event for well over 20 years. Held on the second Saturday of August each year it is a widely attended even for the entire county and beyond.

Colonial Estates homeowners are encouraged to participate in the annual event because it allows everyone to benefit from larger crowds and combined advertising. It drives much more business to the neighborhood because it's an annual tradition and shoppers know there will be dozens of homes participating. While the crowds are usually large and traffic can sometimes be challenging - we are well prepared since it happens once a year.

After holding a yard sale during this combined weekend you will very likely never want to hold an individual one again - you just can't beat the exposure and crowds on the combined event day.
