We are considering moving the date from August 5th to September 8th to also be part of the Pawtucket Arts Festival and also be a possible pre- political effort before the primary and the elections for wider support and possible funding assistance.

Next year the National Nite Out is moving to September anyways and this might be a good test for us as well as avoiding a repeat of the summer heat we have had in the past..

Any thoughts you have as some liked the idea of a possible olde time political torchlite parade as from political campaigns of the past and an art contest with neighborhood posters competing....

Thanks -Arthur

Super Idea....Cooler in September too. How about a bunch of decoration contests from flowers to paintings by kids of their summer activities and maybe someone to sponsor a recycle water bottles contest. Big Allan

Dear Arthur,

Move the parade to early September, as long as the parade is before the primaries. By the way, what is a torch light parade?
