PAWTUCKET - Four people were arrested on breaking and entering and assault charges after a home invasion that occurred Saturday morning at the Kenmore Street apartment of one of the suspect's girlfriends, police said.

One of the female residents of the apartment told police that the night before, her boyfriend had come over to visit with a friend. She said she had become angry with him and asked him to leave, which he did. However, she said her boyfriend came back a short time later accompanied by a friend, stated that he was looking for a gold chain and then forced open a side door. He also demanded that the woman give him back a cell phone, which she told him she did not have.
The woman told police that after a brief confrontation, the suspect and his friend left and she and several other residents of the apartment went to bed. However, shortly before 7:30 a.m., the woman said she and the other residents were woken up by people banging on the exterior doors, and then saw the front door being pushed in. She said they then observed the two men who were at the apartment earlier along with two females rush inside the apartment. The four individuals allegedly began going through all of the rooms and throwing around furniture and personal items. At some point during the incident, the residents all locked themselves inside one of the bedrooms and called 911, the woman said.
When police arrived they found three suspects inside the house and determined that three cell phones had been taken by them. A vehicle parked in the driveway that belonged to one of the residents was also discovered with all four tires slashed. Another suspect was found sitting in a car that was parked one house up from the apartment.
While waiting for detectives to arrive, police said that saw another man walking down the street who appeared to have been involved in an altercation. He told police that he had been at the apartment as well, prior to the police arrival but had fled after being assaulted by two of the home invasion suspects. He had scratches and bruises to his face, but refused medical transport, police said.
The four suspects, all of whom live in Providence, were taken into custody. Fabio D. Felipe, of Massachusetts Ave., was charged with conspiracy to commit breaking and entering and simple assault; Zoe A. Jackson, of Hartford Ave., 3rd fl, was charged with breaking and entering a dwelling when the resident is home, felony assault with a dangerous weapon, assault on a police officer and resisting arrest; Evelyn D. Castillo, of Whitehall St., apt. 1, was charged with breaking and entering a dwelling when the resident is home, two counts of felony assault with a dangerous weapon, weapons other than firearms prohibited and larceny under $500; and Anton Jackson, of Wallace St., was charged with conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, simple assault and larceny under $500.
