Dear Readers,

At last check, is the Pawtucket Times building on 23 Exchange St., still for sale?  This building would make a great site for a small scale department store or a Trader Joe's Supermarket.  The building is fully handicapped accessible and has a decent air conditioning unit on three floors.  By the way, the fifth floor contains an executive dining room and kitchen, built by the former owners, the Black family, in the 1950's.

The only drawback of the site is the lack of parking.  This might be a great opportunity for a developer to buy the western and south side dual buildings that once housed the frequently owned nightclubs and the Pawtucket Typewriter Exchange.  I fail to see the historical value of the structures.

However, by all means, keep the building, built around 1900, standing.

Any readers suggestions to keep artists money in Downtucket?
