Touch-up painting continues at the Pawtucket River Bridge. Taft Street, from Spencer Street to Jencks Way, is closed to allow for ongoing painting in that area. We anticipate the road to be closed through February 21. Follow signed detours. |

The touch-up painting operation on Taft Street is nearly done and is still targeted for completion on Friday, February 28. Then, crews will move over the river to complete the last section, which should take about two to three weeks. Come Spring, the last few items of the project will be addressed, including striping and landscaping. RIDOT update
