Recovery Karaoke @ Anchor Pawtucket every Saturday @ 6pm !!

Anchor and RICARES will be hosting  the 4th Annual Cookout but it is also the 1st "Taste of Recovery" Cookoff Challenge. Trophy to be awarded to best dish as voted by our celebrity judges.
Live and DJ Music, Bwana Iguana Reptile Show (4-6pm), Line Dance, Shri Yoga and Zumba Demos,face painting, community provider info booths… AND Burgers n Dogs!! Much More.
Suggested $2 donation if people can, it helps …

Exciting New Groups:  Anchor in Pawtucket has many new and exciting activities including new on Tuesdays @11am "Homecomers " for folks that have had experiences with "re-entry"

The  10am AA Grapevine Group on Tuesday and Thursday has been steadily growing, as well as the Monday-Wed-Friday "All Recovery" Meeting. Check out what everyone is talking about………….  and on Wednesday July 16th @10am "Inspirational Guidance" with Robin Riley

RALLY4RECOVERY celebrates the 25th Anniversary of SAMHSA's National Recovery Month:

Friday August 29th @ 10am: Kickoff and New Quilt Unveiling (thanks CTR) in the field outside of BHDDH

Saturday September 13th: 2pm  RI RALLY4RECOVERY @ Roger Williams National Memorial Park on Canal and Park Row in Providence. Back by popular demand "The Senders" will headline the music portion of the day. Special "Lights of Hope" March to the Statehouse at 7pm (sponsor opps: contact Connie @ 401-462-2339)
Next Meeting of planning July 15th @ 315pm… location tba

"Rallies Behind the Walls" at DOC have been scheduled as well. TBA soon

 Yes, summer is flying by us, but the good news is September is the 25th Anniversary of National Recovery Month, and as usual, RI is ahead of the pack.   

 

 Friday August 7th @4pm Rally Volunteer Training

 August 20th: 10am is a Homecomer Group Community Listening Panel (2 ceu's) Facilitated by Tarah Dorsey

 August 21 @ 5pm Reknowned Event trainer Eileen Dalton will do a Rally Event Planning Workshop

 

August 22 @ 6pm Gubernatorial Candidate's Forum with MC Bill Rappleye at Anchor Recovery … have your voice heard !!!

September 26th @3pm Newport Rally4Recovery at historic Emmanuel Church (provider tables welcome) and we have a full schedule of Rallies Behind the Walls scheduled with the official closing of RI Recovery Month on Tuesday 9-30 @ 10am (provider tables welcome)

Every Tuesday 630pm and Friday 5pm Yoga in Recovery  @ Shri Studio, 21 Broad Street, Pawtucket

The 12th Annual Rally4Recovery will be held on Saturday September 13 from 2-7pm and from 7-8pm we will have a Luminary and Torch Procession from the Park to the Statehouse. Special Care New England Recovery Counter Board!
