The Great ST. JOSEPH DAY Feast took place once again in the Pawtuxet River Valley!!
 

The annual  St. Joseph Day gathering emphasizes the long-standing dedication of Communal Celebration & Ethnic Ceremony, which was held at the W. Warwick Town Hall on Thursday, March 19th @ 1:30 Pm .

 

A brief ethnic commemoration took, which featured an Invocation by Rev. Fr. Robert Giardina, Pastor of Saints Peter & paul Chuch, the reading of the Proclamation by Councilman Padula officialy naming the day to Saint Joseph .... a vinetta was offered by student Emily Hudson of the High school's Italian Class, a oral history of 'saintly' feasts was offered via Jack Lancellotta of the regional JAYCEE Alumni Association as was staged the flag-raising observance of the Italian flag @  Columbus Square Kiosk Plaza to incorporate our diversity of nationhood within America by JAYCEE Alumni Dwight David Colvin, Dave Legault & Ron Holloway.

 

A Benediction was proffered by Father Giardina..

 

 Refreshments of coffee, juice & the pastry of the day, Zeppoles were served after the Ceremony from AJ'S Restaiurant & Beverage Services and Matos Bakeries.

 

The  OSIA / Vince Lombardi Lodge & JCS Alumni Association hosted the event.  - Ciao!!
