RE: Front Entrance

They will widen Powell Rd enough that they have to remove our Walls and trees and I believe the fence as well. They will build a small 3 or 4 ft stone wall as a safety measure I assume, north of the walking path. Then they have to compensate our HOA for the land that they use. We have no say in this construction, because of (eminent domain) They will have to rebuild everything, Entrance, replace trees, etc.

If you want to blame someone, blame M/I they were the developers of BBF. They didn't do anything for this community. Check out Hoffman Farms in Hilliard, they got the ponds landscaped and installed fountains, they have play areas with gym equipment. This was all done by M/I ,before residents took over their HOA. We should have demanded M/I make some improvements here, BEFORE we took control of our HOA.

Good for us

I think this presents a great opportunity to make the entrance more attractive. I think paying an lawyer to get what we need here is a great investment.

How nice would it be to be able to ride your bike to the Zoo and Wyandotte Lake?

Don't blame MI but Planned Communities. They were the developer.

Those who have lived here for 8 years may also want to blame themselves for not making demands when the subdivision was first built.

We Can't do anything about it now, but can only look forward to what we can do in the future.
