I don't know who you are or who the Almaguars are but if your dog is barking you should be considerate and have it stop. It is a real annoyance.

Who started what ? Do you have a dog and does it bark a lot ? Were you approached about this problem ? If so, did you do anything about it ? If not, then people have a right to not have to listen to it. If my neigbor has a dog that won't stop barking, I would call the sheriff as well.

I'm a little confused here. I assume you're the one with the barking dog. You say you're not hateful and you didn't start this. Then why was the Sheriff called ?

This is MY story

Here is MY story. I had the sheriff called on me as well.I was gone ALL day, til 4:10,read the mail in my car,changed my child's diaper & then went outside. I was actually playing catch w/my dog & watching my kids in the yard when we noticed the sheriff pull up. My Dog barked at a person walking down the road minutes before but that was like for 3-5 mins & not even consistently. That is what dogs do, every dog will do that by nature. Anyway,by 4:50 the sheriff had been called & was at my house.(That was 40 mins & he was out there w/me, not barking) Now I can see the Sheriff being called for dog's barking at night or being left outside chained up during the day & barking all day. That IS annoying, I admit & agree w/people, under those circumstances. But that is honest to God not the case here. Now do you understand why I am personally upset about this ? I AM very considerate of people's feelings, but dogs will bark at strangers & people approaching their yards. I hear other dogs barking in the neighborhood all the time. I was not approached recently. Originally 2 yrs ago I was sent some nasty e-mails for petty barking issues as stated above & told I should move to a farm. That was very hurtful seeing as I only have a dog who stays in my yard only, keep up my yard & are friendly neighbors. See everyone is getting on me, but nobody knew my side of the story. In addition my dogs are out for a total of a whole day for about 90 mins and that is not all at once, that is broken down into many times a day. They actually do not like to stay out. They prefer to be in. The Sheriff actually asked if ANYONE around me has mentioned this to me. I said nobody has. He said if it were such a problem that other people would have complained to me or called him too. He actually acted like the call was a waste of his time.
