Please think twice before starting your car to warm up and stepping inside to get something. Our vehicle was stolen from our carport (Dec 19) when Jim stepped inside to get the kids. We felt safe since a kitchen window looks directly into the carport and we could see the car. A Brookhaven student hopped in the car and drove off. I'm thankful that I hadn't put the kids in the car and then stepped inside for a moment...
