Only one of the five kittens still available for adoption
Last month we distributed a notice that a calico cat who had just given birth to a litter of five kittens was found at a Colvin's Glen residence. When no one appeared to claim the calico cat as their own, Julia Golsalves took in this entire cat family and she and her family have cared for them for the past weeks.
Julia decided to keep the calico cat and two of the kittens. Two other Colvin's Glen neighbors each volunteered to adopt a kitten. So the Mother and four of the five kittens have homes. Only one kitten remains without plans for the future. Should anyone be interested in adopting a one month old black kitten, please call Julia at 703 759 6854. She has arranged that any adoption will be made through the Great Falls Animal Hospital which assures that the kitten will be well checked and treated at a very low cost.
One thing is for sure. This calico cat is one smart cat to have decided to bring her family into the world at Colvin's Glen. And a case can be made that as the black kitten has its Mother's genes, it must be a pretty smart cat itself.
