We (Jackie Jaap of the Mitchell East area and I) have embarked on a most interesting journey. Our responsibilities are evolving into Me, Pat, being spokesperson and liason with Mitchell Part West, while Jackie will concentrate upon organization, the survey, and her nearby residents.
Many of the garden committee members do not post on this site, so we communicate by email to one another as well as in person and use of this site. Jackie will have a viable survey soon, and we can put it to committee for approval on Saturday. We are meeting at my home Saturday at 10 AM before leaving for a look at some gardens. Itinerary not yet determined, but will be.
This is a cooperative effort. We are starting from scratch by determining perceived need and probably participation, not from a preordained plan.
