$3 a night was a very rough estimate, middle-ish. i'd be happy to provide the info to someone if they want to grind out the watts, hours and 3 tiered rates the city pays APS.
it is not a concrete number. for discussion only. -mark

btw: it is illegal to post signs on objects in the park. i hope that the persons responsible will remove them immediately after the meeting today. maybe posting so many was a bit excessive? afterall, we tolerate yard sale signs, and they are illegal too. but only as long as the people putting them out remove them that day also. otherwise, they are just creating a burden on someone else to 'pick up after them'. i've stopped to pick up several of the 'basketball' posters on the ground. ie: trash. so in the interest of respecting the park and the city laws, please take down all the posters, please do a conscientious job of it, tape, etc. i understand the role of 'guerilla' acts. i've done them myself in the past (in Alaska, Baltimore, etc). but to diminish the value of the park, continually in miniscule ways will leave us with a junkyard, not a better park. thx- mark |

Mark In school you must have been the cutest little "Hall Monitor". I'm not quite sure what this neighborhood would do if we didn't have you walking around every day searching for things to complain about. I'm pretty sure that Billy kid will take down his signs. If not, get back to me and I'll send my secretary, (Marla Singer) out there to clean up after him. Tyler Durden |

If only some of you guys would wait to see what people will do before telling them what to do......it would be a lot more pleasant around here. Have a little faith, men/boys. Which advice I need to take myself, as the meeting was much less contentious than I had predicted. Celia's speech about keeping neighborly was very appropos, and I thank her and all who expressed opinions for the generally genteel tone of the discussion. Pat
