Piney Point

Posted in: Maximo Moorings
We in Broadwater are working very hard educate our neighbors about the experiment that will possibly soon take place on our lawns, and in our air. The City Council will be passing the Hazerdous trucking permit that will bring the Piney Point water to the Southwest reclaimed plant. It will be mixed with the tried and true Reclaimed water and sprinkled on our lawns. This water has not been tested for any long term effects on ground, landscape or health. So far our efforts to invite Maximo to our meetings and try to get one person involved has fallen on closed ears. Please, if anyone reads this, respond to let us know why you are not concerned. We have done extensive research to find that the city is not working in our best interests in regard to this Pilot Test and beyond. The DEP has done no testing at all for some of the possible hazards, and this experiment will not benefit the DEP's problem at the Piney Point Phosphate Plant at all. Let us here from you.

It is now March and I just joined this site.  What ever happened with this?  I live in Maximo, and I may be able to find the name of someone who lives here who works at the plant across the street.
