Is there a shared concern about dogs that bark incessantly for hours, especially at night? Several residents in the 1500 block of S Locust have complained to the city. But the city wants a written, formal complaint before taking further action.

Irresponsible dog ownership

Yes, George, I share your concern about barking dogs. And my concern extends to irresponsible dog owners in general: not only people who allow their dogs to bark incessantly and/or during what should be quiet hours, but also those who let their dogs do their business on my lawn without cleaning it up, and those who let their dogs go around unleashed. I believe we have laws in place, but access to enforcement of those laws is a real problem in my opinion.
