CoolIt is very sad to see the tree on the hill taking it's last breath.  It is such a wonderful story.  For those who don't know, Carla a homeless women, saw the tree on a hill.  It was Christmas and she decided to decorate it for Christmas.  Then people started decorating it for every occasion.  Carla was even carried up the hill to decorate the tree.  The tree is located north of I-30 high up on a hill.

I think it is time to forever remember this tree and give it a rest.  I suggest that a bronze tree be erected.  I have asked the Arts Commission to consider this a public arts project.  If you are interested in participating in this project, here is some information.
