It really looks like it is going to be a great deal of fun for the girls! I can't wait to have kids over after school to play there! My daughters can't wait to get there hands (and feet;-) on the climbing wall! I am looking forward to the swings!

More news .Lelsie and Karie are having conversations with parks on how to make it a safer area and one that will not sustain vandalism. These ideas are back in committee now and we are awaiting word from parks dept staff.I look forward to the park being more compliant with the law on access for kids and persons living with disabilites. The park should be more fun for all as the improvements take place. Thank you Margaret , and Leslie and Karie for tracking the park status.

I've seen the park...

Until the issues of cars driving on the park and people up to no good in the park at all hours of the night are addressed, the new equipment doesn't excite me. As a matter of fact, I think we can look forward to teens being in the park more and at all hours of the night with this new equipment.

The parks department doesn't have a ''think outside the box'' mentality when it comes to trying to make the park a better place and yet my taxes are being paid to the City and I have been asked to police the park problems on my own. Frankly, I am disgusted with the whole program.

Playscape Completion Date

Have you heard anything more on the completion of the playscape? Just wondering since the chain link is still surrounding the area.
