Continuing on the subject of eyesores in the neighborhood...Since Saturday, Feb 2nd, there has been an 18 wheeler parked in front of a house on Freshwater Drive. It was my understanding from the neighborhood covenant that these types of vehicles, i.e. trailers, were not allowed in plain sight. Is something going to be done by the homeowners association? It doesn't feel like anyone is policing these issues. PLEASE RESPOND!!!!!

You are correct, this is a violation of city ordenances.  You can call MPD Dispatch at 241-2651, and tell them of the problem.  They will send out a black and white, and tell them to remove the truck from off a neighborhood street.  If you see the problem, and it disturbes you REPORT IT YOURSELF.  I know Freshwater Drive is not in Lakeview Heights, but that is what I did, and it worked.

you are correct - our current leadership is not interested in enforcing any of OUR covenant rules and regulations - remember to choose carefully at the next election
