Fellow North Lake Neighbors,
I wanted let you all know that North Lake residents/and children of North lake are no longer welcomed to fish in the lakes located in Wilkin's Creek. I was standing between the 2 lakes when I was stopped this afternoon and was issued a warning from a wildlife & Fisheries agent for fishing in the large lake in Wilkin's Creek. I was not on anyone's private property.The agent informed me that unless you live in Wilkin's Creek no one is permitted to fish in their lakes. I have been fishing in that lake for almost 5 years now and I am a little miffed. I'm mystified by that fact that we live so close, but we are not considered neighbors with Wilkin's Creek.
Please be aware and let your kids know that the Wildlife & fisheries agent will be patrolling that area and will issue tickets. I belive he is on Wilkins Creek speed dial.
