  • Respect-O-Meter: Valued Neighbor

our family purchased a home in cormans crossing7mo ago..now it has been brought to our attention this neighborhood has alot of crime going on.cant leave your cars unlocked and have to male sure all the doors, windows and sheds are all locked and nothing is left outside.something has got to be done.for 1 we need street lights. noticed there are non in the back of the subdivision!so all the neighbors are going to have to work together to stop this problem..any suggestions please post...Thanks

we were recently in the neighborhood looking for a new home, and it looks really nice.   However there weren't any people outside.  We were there in the am and also back in the pm.  Is it a friendly area?  How much crime has actually happened there?

There are usually quite a few people walking, running, jogging when the weather has been warm. The neighborhood is freindly as with any neighborhood there will always be those who can be a nuisance.

There have been minor issues with vandelism/break in of cars from local teens. Most of the vehicles were unlocked.  I always tell people no matter where you live always lock your doors and never never leave valuables clearly visible in your vehicle. Many homeowners still leave their outside lights off.  Other than maybe a few issues in the past couple of years that I'm  aware of,  its not that bad a neighborhood.
