There have been some changes along the Vine Street business district in the past month. LaRosa?’s is open for business during construction of the new restaurant. The new building will occupy the vacant lot next door as well as the current site and will feature glass walls for people-watching on Vine Street. Inside, dining tables will replace the booths and there will be two kitchens, one for the dining room and
another for take-out and delivery orders. Plans are for the new dining room to open in about twelve weeks. Beyond The Wall has opened at 2633 Vine Street and business is brisk. The shop features posters, frames, lunchboxes, postcards, stickers and more! Stop in and welcome these nice folks to Corryville. Across the street at the Old Firehouse, Skincraft increases Vine Street options for body-piercing and branding. Also new at 2726 Vine Street is PC Outlets, featuring computer hardware at discount prices, as well as a selection of software and accessories. Some of the established businesses have news, too - stop by Norton Photography?’s window display to see some of the region?’s best high school photo art, featuring winners of Norton?’s 3rd Annual High School Photographers Contest. Last, but not least, Pete and Maureen have been doing some remodeling at Daniels Restaurant. So if you haven?’t visited lately, take a walk up to our own Short Vine and see what?’s new!
