Parker M. Code - Animal Identification tag or other form of identification tag

It is unlawful for the owner, possessor or keeper of any domestic dog ( Canis familiaris ) or any domestic cat ( Felis cattus ) to keep, maintain, house or have in possession within the Town a dog or cat, without bearing identification in the form of a microchip, Town identification tag or other form of identification tag which allows the Animal Welfare Officer to determine the name, address and telephone number of the owner. Dog and cat owners shall either display the identification tag by means of a collar or harness, or equip the dog or cat with identification in the form of a microchip. Every dog and cat within the Town shall bear some form of identification at all times.
