Welcome to the board, Gary. I live in Westminster, and am not so surprized to her of the things westy has done at the offense of other cities. We (CVELG) are opposed to these kinds of acts by any local government. We are new, we don't support or defend anything the city of Westminster has EVER done, and we're trying to pay closer attention.
But I don't think ANY city should hold back from building new businesses just because it could "steal" revenue from some older business in a neighboring city. If that were the case... all business would die out. There would be no freedom for capitalism to do it's thing.

Excuse me, but aren't these the same people who you claim were unethical? The same people who have supposedly lied and broken laws? Who don't know the difference between a non-binding advisory vote and a binding referendum?
Take responsibility for your comments; and do your homework before you come in here with your pitiful ignorance and start making judgements.

Why am I signing the petiiton???
I am signing the petition for the same reason that I am circulating it.......
I believe the the Colorado Voters deserve ( and are entitled to! ) a 2nd chance to make a more informed vote on the formation of Broomfield County.
CVELG will not pass this inititive alone, only the State of Colorado can do that.
I will say it for the very last time - if Broomfield has nothing to hide,
than Broomfield has nothing to worry about.
All we are asking the voters to do is "reconsider" Broomfield county - and so far 90% of your fellow voters DO NOT have a problem with doing that.
Are you Broomfield foes againist giving the voters another chance to be FULLY informed???? Shame on you!!!!!!
This is a citizen driven petition - for the the people. Let it be.
