What about the way Westminster has treated their neighbors; i.e., financial incentives given to King Soopers to move from Federal Heights across the street (104th & Fed.) into Westminster; financial incentives given to Albertson's to move from Broomfield into Westminister (120 & Pierce to 120 & Sheridan) and did Westminster care years ago when they built their new mall and devastated Northglenn's tax base?

You will find out that this is all part of the package. Not only has Westminster been crude to the neighbors; it has also been crude to Countryside. I was at the public hearing for the jail; and Superior sent their mayor representatives, and strong citizen support. Westminster Council and city representatives did not show; not one person. Westminster has cut some deals with BF, and they are not, like BF, going to let residents get in the way. The last couple years; that has been the history with BF. As a citizen; I can tell you with all honesty; we never once voted for a county. However, if you ask the council or city; we voted twice (one was a telephone poll of 300 people that the council used as a vote for the county). You can look in the BF Enterprise, the couple weeks before the election; and it is clearly stated we never voted for a county. At one time I both worked and lived in NG; and I can tell you that Westy is rude; and BF is rude; demanding, and impossible to speak to unless you are offering something in return---and it better be what they want.
