Just got back my appraisal on my home. IT is 24,200 less than last year. Why? I am in BF county now, not Boulder County. Is this why my property taxes will be less? Everyone's houses depreciate in value?

Who Dun' It

Who did the appraisal, the county assessor or a realtor?
If the assessor did it and its way low, but a realtor appraises it at better than he did a year ago you are probably in good shape. That means your taxes will go down but not the equity you have in your home.

On the other hand, if the realtor appraises it low and the county assessor appraises it high, that's a problem.
