Well been a while since anyone has been here. I have an ''issue'' that might be of interest to Countryside residents. Did you know that the Westminster City Council ''decided'' to shut down the Countryside rec center? They claim the pool will stay open but I fear they will eventually get rid of it as well. My kids use the rec center for other activities other than swimming and I am ''mad'' they made this crazy decision without asking the residents about it. I'm sure it has to do with money and the ''new'' rec center but what are our kids supposed to do now?? Go over to City Park? I urge anyone who uses this facility to call or email the council and try and persuade them to change their mind. Afterall, its going to hurt the kids the most!
