In reference to the mailbox having uniform lettering on them.... Can someone also tell me what is being done about the campers, and trailers being parked in the driveways?  also what has ever happened with the deal on the NO wood fences and above ground pools?

I don't believe it is fair to try to enforce one thing without ALL the covenants being followed. and my mailbox does need new lettering on it.. THANKS to the drunken idiot who ran over it in the middle of the night and took off.. but the $$ to buy new lettering has not been a top priority so have never done it yet.. I think the Campers, and trailers in the driveways are a much more eyesore then some mailbox lettering and very unfair to try to enforce ONE of the covenants when many more are also being ignored and broken.. Its NOT pick n choose which one you decide on for the month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We, the board, are trying to address as many violations as we can.  Notices were mailed this morning for the trailers, so hopefully they will be taken care of in the next few days.  As far as the other violations you spoke about, we cannot go back on homeowners who were given the OK by the developer or past boards to install wood fences, we can only pursue fences that have gone up during our tenure.  If you know of a wooden fence recently installed, let us know as we have not received any ARC forms for nor have we OK'd any wood fences.  As for the pools, we have brought this issue to the attention of the HOA attorney and she will be recommending a remedy.  The HOA will be more aggressive next year with pools.

It sounds like you are aware of the neighborhood and its appearance; we are always looking for extra help.  If you are able to help us, give one of the board members a call or send an email, we would be happy to add you to our team.

From the date the HOA went into force there is a twenty year period untill it can be done away with. That leaves about 5 years left. This can be done by a majority vote by the homeowners. When the time comes I will be reminding everyone of this point. I for one will be glad to have a bunch of busybodies out of my business.

We are getting very close to being there ourselves.. I think to a certain extent the HOA can be good.. but some take it way overboard.. I want to keep the property values up and a nice neighborhood, but the knit picking on some things is just ridicolus..

BTW I did order my mailbox letter from the lady listed on here, I ordered back around Halloween and have yet to receive them.. so I contacted her again and she said her computer crashed and she would get them to me once again by the end of this week.. Guess we shall see, does not seem to be very dependable..

But as far as the HOA assoc goes.. I would like to know "how golf carts in the neighborhood" is a concern???   I have been told that the president of the assoc was inquiring about what can be done about them.. REALLY??  I have one as so does 4 other people in the neighborhood.. it goes less then 20 mph.. we dont ride thru peoples yards..

we stop at stop signs.. we have the "required by law" sign on the back so we can be seen in dark as well as headlights on ours.. and it is legal on the streets with all of the above.. and yet the president of the HOA wants to make a stink over us riding them??  unbelievable.. What is next.. are you going to ask law enforcement how to stop kids from riding their electric scooters around the neighborhood??   I only wish I had as much time on my hands as some of these people ..
