Crabapple Falls Architectural Control Response Site

Architectural Control

As many of you are aware, since letting the management company go it is up to the board to collectively resume responsibility for neighborhood inspections regarding property condition. After the drive throughs, form letters are sent out to homeowners regarding infractions of property conditions relative to the covenants. These letters are meant as a reminder that attention is needed to some aspect of your home. Bear in mind all our homes collectively make Crabapple Falls the unique environment in which we live. All of the homes are aging and all of the landscapes are maturing. Maintenance is of the essence at this point in our community's time.

THE LETTER

If you receive a form letter in the mail, do not panic... but don't ignore it and please do not take it personally, either. If your letter states your house is in need of a paint job or some major repair; notify us. Let the board know of your time table for taking care of a huge undertaking. We'll make a note of it and you won't continue getting letters month after month. If there is some infraction we have not made clear, let us know, we'll further explain it so you have a clear picture of what action on your part is being requested. The seeming minor offenses are really not minor when there are house after house committing the same infraction. That's why we send out the seemingly nuisance letters regarding violations for garbage can visibility, mailbox post maintenance, etc. This is all in an effort to keep our neighborhood standards to an orderly but not absurd level. If for any reason there is a hardship in your household that inhibits you taking corrective action on a letter, absolutely contact us.
